Pacolet supports multiple greenway trail initiatives including Spartanburg’s “The Dan,” The Palmetto Conservation Foundation’s “Palmetto Trail,” the “Green Crescent Trail” in Clemson, SC, and “The Thread Trail” in LaGrange, GA. All of Pacolet’s mixed-use development projects contain sidewalls and trails that connect to one of these regions trail networks.
Pacolet Milliken has been actively working in the Drayton community since the company’s inception. The initial efforts, which focused on redevelopment of the historic mill, quickly expanded into a holistic mindset for helping the community become a place where people want to live, work and play. A master plan was created and serves as a guide to ensure that individual development projects fit together, and that the resulting community is greater than the sum of its parts.
Pacolet continues to increase the size of solar projects & the rate in which those projects come online. To date, Pacolet has 24 solar projects in spread throughout the county (South Carolina, New Mexico, Maine, and Massachusetts) generating over 60 MWs power.
